About the laboratory
CBD-Test is an independent analytical laboratory that specialises in the testing of cannabis products. Our team has many years of experience in the field of chemical analysis and has worked with a wide range of hemp-based products since the company was founded. In doing so, we have acquired considerable expertise in the field of cannabis analytics, which makes us the ideal partner for production companies, extraction laboratories and retailers, as well as for interested private individuals.
Dr Miguel Guttentag is the founder and CEO of CBD-Test. He completed his doctorate in chemistry at the University of Zurich and a postdoc at the Institut Català d'Investigació Química (ICIQ) in Tarragona. This, combined with his subsequent work at pharmaceutical analysis laboratories, has equipped him with many years of experience in the field of chemical analysis. All of the laboratory staff at CBD-Test are highly qualified experts and can demonstrate specialist training in chemical analysis.
Quality conformity
Professionalism and a smooth workflow are our top priorities. We are ISO 9001:2015-certified, bear the Swiss Certified Cannabis (SCC) label, and have been ISO 17025:2017 accredited since May 2022. Actively supporting us in this regard is qpm-vonkaenel.com, the leading Swiss start-up for digital processes in chemical laboratories and pharmacies. In addition to these regulatory quality features, our standard processes include periodic comparisons with other laboratories and daily control measurements. Our analysis reports are suitable for national and international trade as well as for the notification of tobacco substitute products.
