1. Controller

2. General information on data processing
We only collect personal data to the extent necessary for the provision of our services, the use of our website and the fulfilment of legal obligations. Below we inform you about the type, scope and purpose of data processing.
3. Contact form
When you send us a message via our contact form, we collect the personal data you provide (e.g. name, e-mail address, message content). This data is used exclusively to respond to your enquiry.
Legal basis: Pre-contractual measures or legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry.
Retention period: Contact form data is deleted 6 months after the enquiry has been answered.
4. Cookies
When you access certain pages, a so-called "session cookie" is set. This is a small text file that is automatically deleted from your computer at the end of the browser session. This file serves exclusively to enable the use of certain applications.
You can change the settings of most web browsers so that your browser does not accept new cookies or so that you can delete cookies you have received. How this works specifically for your browser can usually be found via its help function.
Legal basis: Legitimate interest (session cookies), consent (analytics cookies).
5. Server log files
As with any connection to a web server, the server of our web hosting provider METANET AG in Zurich, Switzerland, logs and stores certain technical data. This data includes the IP address and operating system of your device, the date, the access time, the type of browser and the browser request including the origin of the request (referrer). This is technically necessary to provide you with our website. The web hosting provider protects this data with technical and organisational measures against unauthorised access and does not pass it on to third parties.
Legal basis: Legitimate interest in the security and stability of our systems.
Retention period: The retention period for server logs is determined by the guidelines of the web hosting provider METANET AG.
6. Online shop
For the purpose of the purchasing process and subsequent contract processing, IP data of the connection holder is stored in the context of cookies. In addition, the following data is stored by us for the purpose of contract processing:
- Name
- Address
- Telephone number
- E-mail address
The data you provide is required for the fulfilment of the contract or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. Without this data, we cannot conclude the contract with you.
Data is not disclosed to third parties, with the exception of the transmission of credit card data to the processing banking institutions/payment service providers for the purpose of debiting the purchase price, to the transport/shipping company commissioned by us for the delivery of goods, and to our tax advisor for the fulfilment of our tax obligations.
If the purchasing process is abandoned, the data stored by us is deleted. In the event of a contract being concluded, all data from the contractual relationship is stored until the expiry of the tax retention period (10 years). The data name, address, purchased services and purchase date are stored beyond this until the expiry of product liability (10 years).
Legal basis: Contract fulfilment and legal obligation (tax retention).
7. Your rights
Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection, you have the following rights in particular:
- Right of access (Art. 25 FADP)
- Right to rectification (Art. 32 FADP)
- Right to deletion or destruction (Art. 32 FADP)
- Right to data portability (Art. 28 FADP)
If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or that your data protection rights have been violated in any other way, you may file a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC): www.edoeb.admin.ch.
